Privacy
This guide is run by Sobremesa (sobremesa.agency). This page explains what we collect and why. Last updated 19 October 2026.
Newsletter
When you join the newsletter we store your email address, the date and the exact wording you agreed to, which signup form you used and which page you were on (including any campaign tags in the link). We use it only to send you the Side Events Guide newsletter: 1–2 emails a month, more during conference weeks.
Your email is kept in our database (Cloudflare) and in Airtable, which we use to manage the list. We don't sell or share it. If we start sending through a newsletter service, it will process your email on our behalf only.
Event submissions
When you submit an event we store your name, email and the event details so we can review the listing and contact you about it. The event itself becomes public once approved; your name and email don't.
Cookies and analytics
We set two small first-party cookies (seg_v and seg_vid, kept for 90 days) so you see the same newsletter headline on each visit and so we can count, anonymously, which headline works best. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. No advertising trackers.
Unsubscribe and your data
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. You can also email us to unsubscribe, to see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted: lisa@sobremesaly.com.
