The Link Between Software, Money, and Human understanding
Hosted by Apo Zadeh, Portugal Tech Week
Apo Zadeh at PTW Palace on what's still worth paying for in software once AI lets anyone build anything.
This talk follows software’s journey from something you owned to something you rent, and what that shift did to the people who build it. As AI removes building as the bottleneck, Apo Zadeh asks a provocative question: if anyone can make anything, what is still worth paying for?
Drawing on how the music industry went from studios to laptops, and why live shows became the last place musicians could earn a living, he argues that the next profitable products won’t come from productivity. They will come from something far harder to automate, and something we are quietly losing. He invites the audience to rethink what product-market fit was always meant to be.
